The Château de Maulmont is a unique hotel and restaurant, fully renovated to the highest standards, offering 19 rooms and 3 self-catering apartments. Château de Maulmont boasts a superb gastronomic restaurant and a taverne where you can enjoy simple dishes and quick snacks.
The Château itself stands in 22 hectares of parkland, far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and is an oasis of tranquillity. In terms of activities, we offer both an outdoor pool, with magnificent views over the Allier valley and with the Bourbonnais Mountains as a backdrop and a heated indoor pool with sauna and keep fit area in the old vaulted cellar of the castle. In addition you can stroll peacefully through the woods, make use of the golf driving range in the hotel grounds, use the mountain bikes for hire at the hotel to explore the region, or spend a day fishing in one of the two lakes set in the Château grounds. In the neighbourhood of the Château there are numerous opportunities for activities, such as golf (three excellent golf courses are available in the vicinity of the hotel), horseback riding, canoeing, hiking and cycling.
