Flaine is a hugely popular resort and is also great for a short ski holiday.

After seeing heavy investment for this winter, the main section around the gondola base is being redeveloped and new accommodation is being built.

Although not a high-altitude resort at 1600m, Flaine benefits from a reliable snow record and its own micro-climate thanks to the nearby Mont-Blanc.
