At 1010m, Les Houches is established as a quaint resort in its own right and in the small village centre there is a decent choice of restaurants. Particularly popular with the French at weekends, skiers will find that the pistes and the lifts tend to be quieter during the week. Les Houches has 55km of its own slopes but links into the Chamonix Mont Blanc ski area meaning that you have access to over 700km of downhill slopes!
